The Oscars of podcasting - vote for your favourites

UPDATE - Winners are up!

Not so surprising most of the nominees are British or American, and a lot of them are repeaters from the previous two years. However they are really what you could call the Oscar-nominees of podcasting. The awards are not taking place at the Kodak Theatre but at the Convention Centre in the remote Ontario, California, but I think we can look forward to another fabulous, dazzling, glamourous ceremony.

Well, let me set the scene..

A catholic priest, a buddhist brit, a lot - A LOT, of nerds, some proud gay guys, business men in suits, a lot, A LOT, of geeks, cooks with tatoos on their necks, girl with purple hair, or maybe this time green? some very camera-(but not microphone)shy people, guys in hawaii shirts and shorts - I know, cause I was there tho years in a row, and this award is going to be just as much fun. I´ll be there, and ít´ll be fun.

I know, cause I know Todd Cochrane, from the GeekNewsCentralPodcast has, once again, done his best to set the rules and get sponsors for the event. Todd is not all happy-a-go-go about the state of nominated podcasters feeds and ways of publishing their shows, though.

So go and vote for your favourites.

My absolute favourite is For Immediate Release by Shel Holtz and Neville Hobson. I know they get competition from Manager Tools also this time, but they definitely get my vote.
