One Laptop Per Handbag

It´s like looking at a puppy or tiny baby socks. Makes you go: Oooooh cute!
The new RM Asus miniBook must be a blogger or podcasters dream of a pc to slip in the handbag out the door. It has a 7″ screen and it weighs less than a kilo. The price is £169.
I just attended the BETT education Show in Olympia in London, and there I fell in love. The RM Asus notebook operates on Linux, and there is no CD-drive, but it has wireless, all necessary software, all necessary plugs like VGA for projectors and LAN, SD-card reader, headphones and speakers. You can record sound and create your podcast on it, if you want, even. All you need on the go or at conferences and presentations. You can leave your beloved and precious laptop at home. My fear is always to drop it on some conference floor or taking it out at security at the airport.
See video presentation.
The notebook made me think of the OLPC-project. If only every child in school could have on like this. Or every blogger - like me.
Soon the notebook comes with a Windows version which means you can download all kinds of software. On your lap. Or in your handbag.
