Join me at Leesa Barnes Social Media Telesummit

I invite you to join me at the Social Media Telesummit, a virtual event taking place February 20-29, 2008.

In just 26 sessions (30 hours in total) you’ll learn - among a lot of other things:

- How to podcast quickly and often without all the technical headaches (my session)
- Ways to produce a quality podcast that meets the demands of your audience
- Why it’s dangerous to give away all your content for free - and what to do instead
- Discover how the lessons learnt in the “old media” can be used to convince management and other stakeholders to use “new media”
- How to identify the perfect joint venture so you make money faster
- Learn the different ways to create revenue in Second Life
- How to distinguish your social media consulting services from low-cost providers
- The exact blueprint on how to create a six figure income using an audio or video podcast
- What most podcasters aren’t doing and why you should start doing it to stand out
- How to partner with other social media consultants so you can take on larger projects

I am excited to be a part of this event - together with a bunch of other speakers like Jason van Orden, Paul Colligan, Krishna De, Anna Farmery, Penny Haynes, and Leesa Barnes herself, and many more speakers, who have the possibility to teach others how to enhance their businesses with social media like podcasts and blogs.

The event is held over the phone - it is three hours a day over an eight day period, and I will be speaking for an hour on Friday the 22nd. No PowerPoint, she said, only voice and communication over phone with the participants. Quite a challenge, however a good way of forcing oneself to communicate ideas and advice through conversation.

Isn´t that what it is all about - making conversation and at the same time learning from each others successes and mistakes?
